It seems that if you put plant clones into the backpack and then log off, when you come back the genetics are all unknown.

same with battery charge last time i checked

Yeah, I got burned by this too.. Spent hours farming/cloning and had all the clones to make my GGGGYY Pumpkins today.  But when I logged in and was ready to plant the clones I noticed it said "Unknown" for the Genetics.  So I planted them anyway, hoping it was just a UI error and nope.. they all got randomly assigned genes to them, like a new seed would.

Please fix.

Just FYI, someone submitted a pull request for this which was accepted. It addresses plant genetics, batteries, car keys and human skull names. The fix will be in the next release.
