Does every clan member need automaticauthorization.use permissions?

Here's why I ask:

Mod installed, sharing turned on for everything, I'm server owner and clan creator, gave myself that permission, clan member does not have that permission, clan member authed on TC, clan member needs to manually input code locks/etc every time.

Lastly, if it's true that my problem is a permissions problem, can you please explain how this works if I give them the permission but they turn off clan sharing for a category? Will they override my enabling/disabling?
