I have noticed that bases under the raiding protection will not properly take decay damage (this being based on 100% protection while offline, which I am). This means that someone could potentially put up a twig base and log out, then their base will remain not only protected from raiding, but protected from decay as well. Their base could possibly remain up for extended periods of time without materials in the TC while offline.
There is also another part of this issue, where players will log off, and any foundations they may have made across the world will not decay properly during their time protected while offline. Once the protection wears off in 48 hours, than the items will resume standard decay, but the decay rate during their first 48 hours offline will not be applied.
This becomes an issue with random twig scattered across the map from many different players, that cannot be removed by other players until this protection wears off.
If anyone has any suggestions to get decay to be applied while also allowing the protection to remain applied, I would greatly appreciate it. Or having some sort of hook added that effects the decay and induces standard decay rates, would also greatly be appreciated.
