We have this really weird problem. The server has been running for about 3 weeks since the last wipe. In the beginning we used to get Chinooks but they only dropped crates occasionally, not every time. Then over time the Chinooks themselves became rarer and rarer. Now we don't get any at all. I thought it might have something to do with a plugin so I switched everything off yesterday and played vanilla all day long. There was not a single Chinook all day. Attack helis, airdrop planes, cargo ships and tanks a-plenty, but no Chinook. I've also tried the Automated Events plugin. It reports the spawning of the Chinook but no Chinook actually appears in-game.

It's a procedurally generated 4k map with random seed, nothing out of the ordinary. The last map everything was normal, we used to get Chinooks and hack crates regularly, and the server configs haven't changed at all since then. Has anyone else ever had this issue, or able to offer any advice? Are there any other factors that might affect the Chinook?

Update: I just spotted one of these shy beasts but it quickly flew off without circling or dropping a crate.

I had another thought.. we've been skipping nights so in-game time is quite advanced. Would that have an effect on crate drops? Do they get less as time goes on?

if you skip night then yes it messes them up.
I just freeze time to 12pm and so far no issues using TimeOfDay plugin

Use the TimedEvents plugin on here - works for me while using the TimeOfDay plugin.

That looks very similar to AutomatedEvents which didn't work, but thanks for the suggestion, I'll give it a try.
