We expect that developers will be able to maintain their products for at least 6 months after their release. Failing to do so will put their Developer privilege at risk of being revoked. If a Developer intends on stopping product support, it is expected that they provide at least a month notice to their customers and clear instructions on who, if anyone, will be taking up the product's maintenance.
If a product is demonstrating a preponderance of issues that remain unaddressed for up to 3 weeks, the product will be marked unmaintained and will no longer be available for purchase.
Developers will maintain control of their products even after abandoning them. Products will not be transferred to other developers unless explicit instructions to do so are provided by email.
