Color tags showing in chatFixed
pookins
This is the only line of text that does not change any text into colours chosen, it just stays default white in chat
"pStarted": "<color=#ffff00ff>The event has started at</color> <color=#00ffffff>{0}</color> ! <color=#ffff00ff> The protective fire aura has been removed </color> !",

Its probably something basic i am doing wrong,

That is not actually the problem, you might have noticed that every plugin that uses chat announcements will show the colour as in your example, you have to change all the "colours" to Hex equivalent. my problem is that although all the other lines show the correct colour message text this line will only show in all white (unchanged) text,
aqua #00ffffff
black #000000ff
blue #0000ffff
brown #a52a2aff
cyan #00ffffff
darkblue #0000a0ff
fuchsia #ff00ffff
green #008000ff
grey #808080ff
lightblue #add8e6ff
lime #00ff00ff
magenta #ff00ffff
maroon #800000ff
navy #000080ff
olive #808000ff
orange #ffa500ff
purple #800080ff
red #ff0000ff
silver #c0c0c0ff
teal #008080ff
white #ffffffff
yellow #ffff00ff

Try with <color=#ffff00>, not #ffff00ff. The alpha may not be handled in every situation.

I try with your color system and nothing changes anything. thank you for trying

Since the last game update which removes "colour" names  the /dtd lifetime and Ladder lists show colour names (light blue)  and unable to change unless you make changes to the .cs file,

Thanks for the advice,  I tried it BUT now get the same message in chat except instead of <color=#ad8e6ff> etc  I get <color=#ad8e6> etc showing in chat ?
All other messages that can be edited in lang file work great its just anything else that plays up

*a word of caution for those attempting  to change the color "names" in the .cs file to hex , when using replace you must option *whole word or it can lead to disaster , for instance if you dont and you want to change <color=red to <color= #ff0000 it will also choose any word with red in it (shared)

I put the colors in Hex in the lang file and the colors do not appear. What should I do more ??
