Announcement for each profileSuggestion

hello! :) Ive been playing around with the plugin tonight and I have made bosses around the different monuments with between 1-3 hours spawning, what I really would like to get in a future update would be so it could make an announcement tab in the config for example: "Boss at launchsite has just spawned!" and perhaps even announcement when hes been taken down.

This is almost the exact feature I was just trawling around looking for! Would it also be possible to announce the location that the bot spawns in, for something like "The Boss has been spotted in J17!" or even periodic updates as to their location (I have a loaded bot with a huge roam range that players can hunt).

@elroy it's essentially a blank space you can put whatever your heart desires. Ex: I made a custom bot drop at Water Treatment (I put a zone around it announcing people were entering a boss zone). Then the boss and his 6 minions drop with chutes. It announces "Boss and minnions have arrived at Water Treatment" They stay there till someone kills them. Then 5-6 hours later, they will spawn in again. Same thing. (I didn't want them to spawn too much and be farmed).

That’s a cool set up, but it’s not exactly what I was suggesting. The boss bot I have doesn’t spawn at a monument- nor do I want it to. It spawns randomly, within a large radius from a point close to the center of the map, and has a large roam radius too. The point is for players to have to invest time in tracking the boss down. I’d like to give them hints by occasionally announcing its map grid reference.

Is it a static spawn? Ex) It always spawns around "Q15" or some grid coord, then kind of roams from there? If so, it's the same as what I said. You write whatever you wish into the announcement section. Meaning you could say, "Boss has spawned near Q15, find him and kill him" or whatever you wish.

I’m not sure what you mean by “the announcement section” but “around Q15” isn’t going to help if it has spawned at S4 or C18 - like I said, the spawn radius is huge.

I don't think we are understanding each other properly. From everything you've said, this is  exactly what you want. 

Look at the "announcement_text"  You stand where you want the boss to be. Create the bot. Go into the data file and edit the config. Where ever you place the bot you can create the radius for him to spawn, then the radius for him to roam. What ever square that is in, you can use that as part of your announcement text. Then it would give the users a general idea of the boss and they have to find him from there....

@Irishsun530 - That option isn't in the public release, but it will be in the next update.

I think Elroy's saying that his npc could be in any number of grids, because the profile radius is larger than one grid.
@elroy - Right now it's just a fixed-text announcement, I'm afraid.
